AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 8/7, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on August 7.

According to Wrestlenomics, 622,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and drew a 0.19 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 609,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with MJF defeating Kyle Fletcher in an AEW American Championship Eliminator match. Friedman continued to attack Fletcher after the match which brought out Will Ospreay to make the save.

Mariah May picked up a win over Viva Van. May and Toni Storm once again brawled following the match and were separated by referees and security.

Katsuyroi Shibata was also in action picking up a win over Bryan Keith. The Learning Tree attacked Shibata following the match leading to the return of HOOK.

The main event saw Bryan Danielson defeat Jeff Jarrett in a No Disqualification match. Swerve Strickland and Danielson faced off to close the show.
