AFCON 2023: ‘I Feel Sorry For Them’ — Moffi Upbeat Super Eagles Will Beat Cote d’Ivoire

Terem Moffi has told his OGC Nice teammates, Jeremie Boga that the Super Eagles will triumph over the Elephants at the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Moffi and Boga will be up against each other when Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire clash in a Group B contest at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe , Abidjan on January 18.

The 24-year-old admitted it will be special to face his club mate.

The striker said he has already bragged that the Super Eagles will win the game.

“In the second round (group game) we play against Cote d’Ivoire, Jeremie Boga, so it will be really special,” he told Ligue 1’s YouTube page.

“I always tell him they will lose at home to Nigeria. I feel sorry for them, for him.”

Moffi is expected to link up with the rest of the Super Eagles squad after earning a late invitation for the injured Victor Boniface.
