19 Kelechi Iheanacho and Kenneth Omeruo caught the eye as the Super Eagles practised penalty kicks during Monday’s training session, reports Completesports.com.
Jose Peseiro’s side took to the field again on Monday night after observing Sunday as rest day following their 2-0 victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
The training session took place at the Police College, Cocody.
Mindful of what lies ahead of them, the Super Eagles practised penalty kicks and shooting towards the end of training.
Iheanacho and Omeruo were the most successful as they scored all their spot kicks.
Omeruo has made three appearances for the Super Eagles at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Omeruo is however yet to make an appearance for the three-time African champions in the competition.
The Super Eagles will continue their preparations for the game against Angola on Tuesday (today).
The game against the Black Antelopes will hold at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Friday.
