Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has reacted to the team’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations draw.
The three-time African champions are drawn in Group C with Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, Cranes of Uganda and Taifa Stars of Tanzania.
Troost-Ekong declared that the Super Eagles won’t underrate their group opponents.
The centre-back further said they have the quality to beat other teams to the title.
“AFCON 2025 draw is now over, very exciting to see the groups. Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania. Three teams that needs to be respected,” Troost-Ekong told the Super Eagles media.
“I think we have the experience now on how to handle situation like this. There are no easy games again in Africa. That’s a common knowledge now.
