The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has praised Victor Osimhen following the forward’s impressive performance in the Super Eagles win over Benin Republic on Saturday.
Osimhen was on target in the Super Eagles 3-0 victory over the Cheetahs at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The 25-year-old took the place of Victor Boniface in the 72nd minute.
The forward then scored Nigeria’s second goal six minutes later.

Osimhen slammed the ball into the net after he was set up by Wilfred Ndidi.
CAF took to the social media to celebrate the powerful striker.
“Only 6 minutes were needed to open his account for the season. ⚽️,” they wrote on X.
“@victorosimhen9 simply can’t be stopped. ”
