Olisa Ndah hopes he will get chance to feature in the Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

Ndah is back in the Super Eagles after he was snubbed by national team selectors for few years.

The 26-year-old earned his invitation on the back of his impressive displays for South African club, Orlando Pirates.

The centre-back will compete with the likes of captain William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey for a starting berth in the team.

The defender however said what is important is the team’s success.

“If I am given a chance, definitely I would love to take my chance,” Ndah told reporters ahead of the clash with Benin Republic.

“Right now we are just focused on getting back to winning ways. We are just focused on Saturday; it doesn’t matter who is starting or who is on the bench.

“I think the focus as a nation and as a unit is to be able to win the game on Saturday.”

The Super Eagles will face the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Saturday.
