Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah could miss Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya.

Nigeria will host the Mediterranean Knights in a matchday three fixture on Friday, October 11.

The two teams will clash again in Benina four days later.

Ndah was absent in Pirates 1-0 victory over Richards Bay on Sunday.

Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro revealed that the centre-back is dealing

with injuries sustained during the match against Polokwane City.

Riveiro also hinted that Ndah may miss his side’s MTN8 final against Stellenbosch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.

“In our last game against Polokwane City both Olisa Ndah and Monnapule Saleng were subbed because of different injuries that’s the reason they were not playing (against Richards Bay),” Riveiro was quoted by hollywoodbets.net.

“And actually we’re not 100% sure that they are going to be at the final (against Stellenbosch).”

Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen is expected to unveil his squad for the games against Libya this week.
