Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu will assist Augustine Eguavoen in Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Eguavoen will manage the Super Eagles for the two games.
Ilechukwu guided Rangers to their ninth Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title last season.

The former Plateau United and Heartland gaffer once worked as an assistant to former U-23 Eagles handler, Imama Amapakabo.
Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede was also named one of the assistants to Eguavoen on Monday.
The Super Eagles will take on the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.
The three-time African champions will face the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali next week Tuesday.
