Benin Republic head coach Gernot Rohr is set to announce his squad on Thursday for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Nigeria and Libya.

According to Joueurs Beninois, there is a possibility that Paris Saint-Germain right-back Colin Dagba, who has shown interest in representing Benin Republic, could receive a call-up.

The Cheetahs are expected to begin their preparations for the qualifiers this weekend. They will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 7. This follows their 2-1 victory over Nigeria in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in June.

After the match against Nigeria, the Cheetahs will host the Mediterranean Knights of Libya at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan for their second matchday on Tuesday, September 10.
