Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen insists his side will go all out for a win against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic.
Nigeria and neighbours Benin Republic will clash in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday one encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday (today).
It will be repeat of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the two teams in June which the Cheetahs won 2-1.
Eguavoen said his players are battle ready and will go all out for a win against Gernot Rohr’s men.
“Expectations are high, we’re at home, we’re in good spirit and we want the three points,” he told reporters.
“We will approach the game with all seriousness and we will do everything possible to win.
“It will be nothing but a win.”
