IFTA, the organizer of the American Film Market (AFM), has issued a press release touting the “strong” lineup of exhibitors signed up for this year’s inaugural Las Vegas edition, which will run November 5-10 at the Palms Casino Resort.

IFTA (The Independent Film & Television Alliance) claims that demand is outstripping previous years with 145 companies currently signed up for the spaces in The Palms’ Fantasy Tower, the AFM’s designated hub.

Exhibitors said to be signed up include A24, AGC Studios, Altitude Film Sales, Anton, Arclight Films, The Asylum, Bankside Films, Black Bear Pictures, Blue Fox Entertainment, Charades, Cinema Management Group, CJ ENM, Cornerstone, Embankment Films Limited, The Exchange, Fantawild Animation Inc., Film Factory Entertainment, Film Mode Entertainment, Film Seekers, FilmNation, Gaumont, Goodfellas/Wild Bunch International, HanWay Films, Highland Film Group, Inc., Indie Rights, Lakeshore, Lionsgate, Myriad, Neon, Pathé Films, The Playmaker Munich, Protagonist Pictures, Studiocanal, Telepool, The Match Factory, Trust Nordisk, Unifrance, The Veterans, Vision Films, Voltage Pictures, WestEnd Films, WME Independent, and XYZ Films.

IFTA says buyer and other industry registrations come from 45 countries to date.

Close to Interstate 15, the Palms Casino Resort is a hotel and casino near the Vegas Strip which includes 700 rooms, a movie theater (which has hosted several film premieres), bars, indoor and outdoor pools, exercise rooms, a music venue (the Pearl Concert Theater) and a recording studio. Between 1999-2009 the resort hosted the film festival CineVegas.

Within the resort is multiplex venue Brenden Theaters, comprising multiple screening rooms.

The AFM moved away from longtime Santa Monica home The Loews last year, but the Delfina location it called home for one edition was beset with issues.
