A historic Real Madrid player has made an announcement about his short-term future.

The summer of 2024 will be that of great upheaval in the ranks of the White House. As Real Madrid prepares to welcome French superstar Kylian Mbappé, the Spanish club paid tribute to one of the greatest midfielders in its history, German Toni Kroos, who made the decision to hang up his crampons after Euro 2024.

Unlike Kroos, Luka Modric would still be inclined to continue the adventure. “I always said I wanted Real Madrid to be my last club,” said the Croatian this week. “I want to retire in Madrid, but let’s see how things develop. I hope this comes true. It would be a dream for me to retire at the club of my life.” Another locker room dinosaur spoke about his short-term future: Nacho Fernandez.

Nacho has made his decision

An eternal complementary player, the Spanish defender sees his contract expire at the end of the season. And he seems to have made a clear decision for his immediate future, even if he has not yet verbalized it.

I have decided what I will do at the end of the season, but I won’t say it, it’s not the day, it’s not the time, launched Nacho on Onda Cero radio. But nothing that happens will change my decision. Whether winning the Champions League or the Euro“, concluded the Spaniard.
