The agent of Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri does not sound very happy about his client’s treatment under Erik ten Hag.
We are waiting for Pellistri’s loan deal to Granada to go through before the Uruguay international can look forward to regular minutes on the pitch. That is not something he has experienced during his time at Old Trafford.
After just three starts in 14 appearances across all competitions for United so far this season, United are willing to let Pellistri go on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Pellistri’s agent has thrown his long-term future at Old Trafford into doubt by hinting that his client coulde leave the club if Ten Hag remains manager.
“Whether he returns to Manchester in the middle of the year will depend on the performance he shows (at Granada). If Ten Hag continues, it’s going to be difficult,” Edgardo Lasalvia tells Sport 890.
“(Ten Hag) hasn’t used him, valued him, or treated him like a professional.”
Some reports state that Ten Hag believes another one of his young wingers has a higher ceiling than Pellistri, who is about to move to Spain for his third loan spell in La Liga.
According to the Daily Mail, Ten Hag has a feeling that teenage winger Omari Forson may have a brighter future than Pellistri. The Dutchman has named the 19-year-old in a few matchday squads before giving him his first team debut in the FA Cup third round against Reading.
Unlike Pellistri and Amad Diallo, Forson came off the bench in Sunday’s 4-2 win at Newport County.
