AGN executives pay condolence visit to Onyeka Onwenu’s family

Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) executives on Sunday paid a condolence visit to children of late veteran singer Onyeka Onwenu.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalled that the 72-year-old music icon had died at the Reddington Hospital, Lagos after she slumped while performing at the birthday party of famous socialite Mrs. Stella Okoli.

The AGN President, Emeka Rollas, visited the late Onwenu’s family alongside other sympathizers, including the Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Emmanuel Ogugua and Sony Mcdon, National Secretary of the Guild, Abubakar Yakubu, Ifeoma Okeke, Arinze Okonkwo, Mouth Piece, Ebele Okaro and Ronnie Diko.

The AGN president via his verified Instagram page on Tuesday expressed sympathies to the family of the late singer, praying that God grants her eternal rest.

His post reads, “Two days ago, I led a delegation of some of the Board of Trustees and senior Guild members to pay a condolence visit to the children of the late Onyeka Onwenu.

“The Actors Guild of Nigeria sympathises with the family during this moment of grief and prays that God grants Onyeka eternal rest in His bosom.”

They also signed the condolence register during their visit.
