Agreement reached with Real Madrid

After David Alaba in 2021, Real Madrid is making good progress on the recruitment of Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies, since an agreement has been reached with the 23-year-old Canadian international.

In addition to rolling out the red carpet for Kylian Mbappé, who could well leave PSG free of any contract to join (finally) Real Madrid, the management of the Merengues has set its sights for a while on Alphonso Davies, the powerful left side from Bayern.

As indicated Relevo, Florentino Pérez and his deputies have already reached an agreement with the agent of the 23-year-old Canadian international. All that remains is “only” the terms of the transfer with Bayern to be defined before the next off-season.

Davies at 70 million?

Unlike David Alaba, who arrived free in 2021 after the end of his contract with the Bavarian club, Casa Blanca will this time “check out”. The player recruited from the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018, for 22 million euros, is estimated at 70 million by Transfermarkt.

Note that Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia are Carlo Ancelotti’s two left-backs this season and the French international, appreciated by management, the current staff and his teammates, could be retained (and even extended) if he agrees to become the understudy of Alphonso Davies.
