A non-profit organisation, Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Service Compact with All Nigerians to enhance public service delivery.

In a statement recently, the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation said the partnership was aimed at strengthening the capacity of SERVICOM to deliver on its mandate.

SERVICOM is a Federal Government initiative established to promote effective and efficient service delivery in Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation is a public sector-focused philanthropic organisation founded by Aigboje and Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede to improve the lives of Africans through transformed public service delivery and increased access to quality primary healthcare.

Speaking on the partnership, the Executive Vice Chairman at the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede, said, “We are delighted to partner with SERVICOM in this critical endeavour.

Our organisations share a commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians through efficient and effective public service so it makes perfect sense for us to collaborate. Together, we will work tirelessly to equip SERVICOM with the tools and capacity to deliver on its mandate.”

The foundation stated that the partnership would focus on several key areas, adding it would provide capacity-building support to SERVICOM staff empowering them to effectively monitor and evaluate service delivery reform initiatives across the Nigerian Civil Service.

It added that it would assist with developing and refining standard operating procedures for ministries, departments, and agencies, ensuring adherence to best practices and improved service delivery.

To further enhance service quality, the foundation will also support SERVICOM in adopting ISO9001 quality management systems across MDAs. This support will include providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful certification and implementation.

Finally, the foundation will support SERVICOM to conduct comprehensive needs assessments of MDAs to identify service delivery gaps and develop tailored solutions.

By working closely with SERVICOM, the foundation said it aimed to create a more responsive and citizen-centric public service.
