AJ Francis comments on his contract status with TNA. He says that his deal is up at the end of the year, but he would stay if the offer was right.

AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla in WWE, has been with TNA since January 2024. He has won the Digital Media Championship during this time with the company.

In an interview with Cultaholic Wrestling’s Tom Campbell, AJ Francis said that his deal was up on December 31, but he would sign if the offer was right. (H/t Aidan Gibbons of Cultaholic)

“If the money is right and the deal is right I would sign tomorrow night. Currently, the deal that I have with TNA goes through December 31st, and January 1st I am open in the wild,” Francis said.

“I am 100 per cent down with the possibility of re-signing with TNA. It’s just gotta make sense, it’s got to be worth what I know I’m worth. Some people get bogged down by a lot of different things when it comes to contract negotiations, mine is very simple. Do I believe you are going to push me the way I deserve to be pushed and how much money am I going to make? That’s very simple.”

AJ Francis On His Time In TNA

Francis went on to discuss how he has had a lot of opportunities in TNA. He noted that he loved his time there.

“TNA has done a very good job of giving me a lot of opportunities over the past year,” he said. “Do I respect the fact that TNA has done a lot for me over the past year? Absolutely. And I’ve loved my time at TNA. I’ve loved the fact that Tommy Dreamer believed in me – now everybody’s like ‘Wow, AJ’s so talented’- but flash forward back a year ago when I got fired, the only person that believed in me was Tommy Dreamer.

“I take that into account as well. There’s a lot of things there. I have proven over the past year that I am one of the top stars and the top heel in this business.”

Francis will compete in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at TNA Bound For Glory.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
