AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by fans and his peers. The Phenomenal One always competes at a very high level and despite his age, Styles has barely slowed down. However, he admitted that time is running out quickly on his in-ring career.
The Phenomenal One has accomplished a lot in his WWE career over the last eight years and it is a guarantee that he will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame once he hangs up his boots.
While speaking to WrestleManiacUK, AJ Styles revealed that he has no specific window when it came to his retirement but admitted his body and mind are constantly fighting, adding that time is running out quickly on his in-ring career.
“You know, my brain’s going, ‘We don’t have a lot of time’, my body’s going, ‘We can go! No, we can’t!’ It’s an argument between my body and my brain on how much longer we can go. I can tell you it won’t go much longer, time’s running out really quick.”
In the meantime, AJ Styles will face off against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 on July 13 at Budokan Hall, so fans can look forward to that and future matches as they will cherish the time they have left with AJ Styles as an active in-ring competitor.
