AJ Styles Secures No. 1 Contender Spot for Undisputed WWE Championship on 4/19 WWE SmackDown

WrestleMania Sunday featured a grueling match between AJ Styles and LA Knight when the latter picked up one of the biggest wins of his career. While the WWE Universe expected it to be the end of their rivalry, things turned around with a tournament to crown the No. 1 contender for Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship. 

On the 4/12 episode of Smackdown, LA Knight and AJ Styles won their respective triple threat matches to head to the final match to get shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship. A singles match between both men was then featured during the 4/19 episode of the blue brand

In an action-packed match, Styles and Knight showcased their intense rivalry with a lot at stake this time. After featuring some hard-hitting spots throughout the battle, AJ Styles turned out to have the upper hand this time and avenge his WrestleMania 40 loss.

With his massive victory, AJ Styles will now head to Backlash in France to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, what the future holds for LA Knight is still uncertain. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
