Manchester United are actively trying to sell Christian Eriksen.
That has been the case all summer since it became clear last season that Eriksen is no longer cut out for the highest standard.
The 32-year-old impressed in his first season at United, but he struggled to have a positive impact on the team last term.
According to Teamtalk, Ajax are interested in a loan move for their former midfielder, but United are more keen on a permanent exit.
Eriksen made a name for himself as a rising prospect of the game between 2010-13 before earning a move to Tottenham Hotspur. It is believed Ajax are interested in bringing him back to the Eredivisie.
Ajax finished fifth in the Eredivisie in 2024/25 and will be looking to turn things around.
The report claims United want to spend another £100m on capturing defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt. Other outlets believe the club are searching for two new full-backs too.
United need to sell players in order to afford these acquisitions.
Casemiro, Scott McTominay, Victor Lindelof, and Eriksen are at the top of the potential exists list.
