Former Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen was allowed to stay on after initially being sent off while playing for Ajax.
The Dutch midfielder was shown a straight red card during his side's friendly Stuttgart.

Despite the non-competitive nature of the match, Klaassen was sent off just 11 minutes after coming on as a half-time substitute.
The Netherlands international was dismissed for a late tackle but was bizarrely allowed to continue playing.
In a post on X, Ajax confirmed: "Davy Klaassen received a red card but is allowed to continue playing after discussions between the two teams."
Having kept their full compliment of 11 players, Ajax were able to stage a second-half comeback.
After trailing 2-0 at the break, the visitors secured a 2-2 draw thanks to former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom's late goal.
Ajax are set to return to competitive action on Saturday when they face RKC Waalwijk at home in the Eredivisie.
The 36-time Dutch champions are currently second after 17 matches, trailing leaders PSV Eindhoven by six points.
Former Dutch international Klaassen returned to the club for a third spell back in September.
The 31-year-old arrived on a free transfer after leaving Inter Milan at the end of last season.

He has since scored six goals and provided two assists in 16 appearances this term.
Klaassen's deal currently runs until the end of the current campaign.
As well as two previous spells in the Dutch capital, he also spent a season with Everton.
During the 2017/18 season, Klaassen made 16 appearances for the Toffees but failed to score.
