Ajax forward Brian Brobbey has named Manchester United as a club he would like to play for in the future.

The 22-year-old, who came through the academy ranks at Ajax and was handed his senior debut by Erik ten Hag back in 2020, was previously linked with a move to Old Trafford.

A move never materialised but that has not stopped Brobbey from dreaming.

In an interview with the new Dutch edition of Men’s Health magazine (via TikTok), the Dutch striker revealed which foreign clubs he would like to play for.

“If I see myself and how I have played in the last few months, I think I am doing quite well,” Brobbey said, as cited by Soccer News Netherlands. “I still want to achieve many great things in my career, such as playing for a very big football club.

“Real Madrid is a beautiful club. Arsenal, Manchester United… How much am I worth? After the European Championships, €80m. Going to the European Championships is also a dream of mine.”

Brobbey has been in top form for his struggling side this season and has chipped in with 17 goals from 26 league games thus far.

United need to sign a striker to compete for a place in the team with Rasmus Hojlund. Our young Danish striker is good enough to lead the line, but we need more depth in the goalscoring department. That’s why it will be a bonus to have Anthony Martial off the wage bill.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should sign Brobbey this summer.
