Earlier this week, the makers of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha took to social media and stated that their film would not be released on July 5. Alongwith this statement, the makers also promised to announce the film’s new release date soon – and they have. Earlier today, the film’s lead stars took to social media and shared the film’s new release date with a poster.
New release date
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, Ajay Devgn and Tabu shared the news release date via a shared post. They captioned it, “The wait ends on 2nd August!”
AMKDT to clash with Ulajh
The makers announced the postponement of the Ajay Devgn-Tabu starrer by stating, “Dear friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New release date to be announced soon.”
According to the new release date, the film will not clash with Janhvi Kapoor-led Ulajh and Vikrant Massey-led The Sabarmati Report at the box office. While the Janhvi starrer is a spy thriller directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Vikrant’s upcoming flick is a drama thriller directed by Ranjan Chandel. All three films have a theatrical release.
About Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha
Written and directed by Neeraj Pandey, the romantic thriller stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in their tenth film together. Aside from the leads, the film also sees Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar in supporting roles. The film – initially scheduled on July 5, will release in theatres on August 2.
For those wondering, Ajay and Tabu have screen space in Vijaypath, Haqeeqat, Thakshak, Drishyam, Golmaal Again, De De Pyaar De, Drishyam 2 and Bholaa.
