Maghnès Akliouche, the excellent AS Roma midfielder, is likely to change his sporting nationality.

Maghnès Akilouche is one of the great revelations of the season with AS Monaco. A silky midfielder, he seems to have a very bright future ahead of him. Whether on the club scene or the selection scene.

Aged 22, Akliouche currently plays with the French youth team. It is even one of the elements most used by Thierry Henry since the start of his mandate. That said, it is not certain that at the A level the native of Seine Saint Denis will wear the same blue jersey.

Akliouche could go from blue to green

Akliouche could opt for his other country, Algeria. It comes from there and steps have been taken on the other side of the Mediterranean to make it selectable. This is what the Qatari media revealed Al Kass.

Walid Sadi, the boss of the Algerian federation, is closely following the player and plans to discuss with his family. The idea is to make it available to Vladimir Petkovic, the Fennecs coach, as quickly as possible. Nothing says that he will achieve his goals as was the case recently with Amine Gouiri or Houssem Aouar, but it is clearly worth a try given the talent that Akliouche harbors.
