Al Pacino revealed he was once unconscious and nearly died in his home while suffering from COVID-19.
“I was sitting there in my house, and I was gone. … I didn’t have a pulse,” the “Godfather” actor, 84, told the New York Times Magazine in a piece published Saturday.
“In a matter of minutes they were there — the ambulance in front of my house.”
Pacino further recalled, “I had about six paramedics in that living room, and there were two doctors, and they had these outfits on that looked like they were from outer space or something.”

He did not reveal when the scary incident occurred.
Pacino said that in his final moments, he did not view death in the same way he thought he would.
“I didn’t see the white light or anything,” the “Scarface” star said. “There’s nothing there.”

Pacino also noted that he’s gotten a newfound perspective on death as he’s aged.
“It’s just the way it is,” he bluntly stated. “I didn’t ask for it. Just comes, like a lot of things just come.”
The “Irishman” star said “having children is a consolation” for death — along with his award-winning body of work that spans decades.

Pacino has three adult children plus a 1-year-old son, Roman Pacino, whom he welcomed with his now-30-year-old girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, in June 2023.
He shares his daughter Julie Marie with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant and twins Anton and Olivia with his ex Beverly D’Angelo, whom he dated between 1997 and 2003.
Pacino takes his role of father quite seriously and told the Guardian in 2015 that he splits his time between the East and West Coasts to ensure he is the most “responsible” father possible.
