Alex Shelley gives a “spoiler alert” about his future.
The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) have been free agents since their TNA contracts expired in April. They have been linked to WWE and AEW, and WWE has increasingly become the frontrunner.
At the West Coast Pro event on July 20th, Shelley seemingly referenced the rumors. He said, “Spoiler alert, I might not come back here.” Shelley told the crowd that he knew that the future of pro wrestling was safe, and he thanked the fans.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful wrote that many in wrestling believe that the Motor City Machine Guns are heading to WWE. Sapp noted that a lot of people in the independents were acting like Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were wrapping up, but they were still taking bookings.
It's still kept very quiet and relatively close to the vest, but the feeling many have in wrestling is MCMG are going to WWE.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have been announced for AIW’s Against The World event on August 1.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
