Alexander Isak is on international duty.
Sweden with two high profile friendlies against Denmark and Serbia, two teams that England will face in their group games this month in Germany.

Alexander Isak asked how the 2023/24 season went for him:
“It has been good, especially the second part of the season.
“I had some knocks and injuries the first part.
“It was a bit difficult to find the “flow” but in the last few months I have played regularly and gained continuity.
“It has shown in the performances as well.”
Scoring 21 Premier League goals means that Alexander Isak is the Swede who has scored the most goals in the Premier League in one season, overtaking Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record:
“It’s fun to have a record in Swedish football.
“I am mostly satisfied with my season.
“I scored a lot of goals in a league like the Premier League.
“When I think about my own contribution I am very satisfied with it.”
Alexander Isak asked about media speculation linking him with a summer move to any number of clubs:
“I’m enjoying myself very, very well in Newcastle.
“I had my best season now in my career.
“That should not be underestimated.
“I love everything really about the club, the fans, the city.
“I actually have no thoughts of a move or anything like that.
“I enjoy myself fantastically well and am very happy with my life.”
Alexander Isak asked about the speculation in the British media claiming that Newcastle United might have to sell Alexander Isak or another star player, in order to stay within PSR restrictions:
“It is not something I am speculating on.
“Within the team or the club there has been no talk or drama around it.
“I have not received the information from the club that they would have to sell me.”
Great to hear from Alexander Isak but no surprise.
The striker, along with all of Newcastle’s other best players, showing absolutely no interest in wanting to leave St James’ Park, zero interest as well from the the club in terms of wanting to sell any of the NUFC stars.
