Algerian outfit, Moloudia club of Oran have announced it has terminated the contract of its head coach, Eric Chelle.
The Moloudia took the decision after Chelle agreed to take up the role of Super Eagles head coach.
The 47-year-old has a clause in his contract which allow him to leave him the club for a national team post.
The former Mali international took charge of MC Oran for the last time in Saturday’s Algerian Cup clash with ES Setif.

The former Algerian league champions announced Chelle’s departure on the social media.
“The management of MC Oran announces that it has reached a joint agreement with first-team coach Eric Chelle, to terminate the contract between the two parties by compromise,” the club wrote on Instagram.
”The management of the team also thanks him for all he has given to the team, and wishes him all the best in his career.”
The former defender was appointed MC Oran head coach on October 9, 2024.
