Like the Japanese during the last two World Cups in Russia and Qatar, Algerian supporters took the initiative of cleaning their stands before leaving the Bouaké stadium after their national team’s first match at the World Cup. Africa of Nations in Ivory Coast, Monday against Angola (1-1).
As shown in videos posted on social networks, Greens fans collected the waste to leave the premises in a clean state and they are the first to do so collectively in this CAN. An excellent initiative which will perhaps be taken up by other groups of supporters who have traveled to Ivory Coast.
The 2019 African champions already have their backs against the wall before challenging Burkina Faso on Saturday, who took the lead in the group by snatching victory against Mauritania (1-0, penalty goal from Bertrand Traoré).
