Vasan Bala’s upcoming film, Jigra – starring Alia Bhatt, Jason Shah and Vedang Raina, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. While fans are eagerly awaiting to see Alia’s next, here’s some not-so-happy news. As per the latest announcement, the film has been postponed. Read on to know the new release date.
Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra postponed
Earlier today, the makers of Devara took to social media and released a new poster of the film along with it’s new release date. The Jr NTR – which was earner scheduled to release on Eid 2024, will not hit screens on September 27, 2024. This meant the film – which got delayed due to late VFX works, the film has been postponed, would clash with Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra. But that’s not happening any more.
Sharing the new poster, the makers wrote on their social media handles, “Sending a Warning Notice to all coasts about his early arrival. Man of Masses @Tarak9999’s #Devara in cinemas from from Septemebr 27! #DevaraOnSep27th,.” Dharma Productions – one of the film’s distributors, also shared the latest poster Devara: Part 1. They captioned it, “Prepare for an epic showdown with the unforgiving storm! Man of Masses Jr NTR’s #Devara – in cinemas 27th September, 2024.”
Minutes later, the production house shared a poster of Alia Bhatt-led Jigra along with its new release date. They captioned it, “A fierce journey to protect your own…your jigra! Starring Alia Bhatt & Vedang Raina – #Jigra arrives in cinemas on 11th October, 2024.” Alia Bhatt too shared the poster on her Instagram and simply captioned it, “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies”
