Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender met while working together on the set of The Light Between Oceans and they’ve been a couple for the past 10 years! It was announced in March 2023 that Alicia and Michael are going to finally make another movie together and now she’s revealed the surprising reason why it’s taken so long for this to happen. Keep reading to find out more… Alicia revealed in a new interview with Variety that she and Michael had never been pitched another movie together until Hope. “Maybe because one person dared to ask, now other people come,” she said. Hope is described by Deadline as a “largely Korean-language film” and it “will follow the residents of Hopo Port, where a mysterious discovery is made on the outskirts of the remote harbor town. Before long, the residents find themselves in a desperate fight for survival against something they have never encountered before.” Both Alicia and Michael will speak English in the movie, which is being directed by Korean director Na Hong-Jin. The married couple just made their first red carpet appearance together of 2024!
