Alicia Vikander is being honored! The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress was honored with the Golden Eye Award at the 2024 Zurich Film Festival on Tuesday (October 8) in Zurich, Switzerland. For the event, Alicia wowed in a plunging black and white dress with ruffled detailing. The Golden Eye Award recognizes Alicia‘s “outstanding acting performance and her consistently courageous and clever choice of roles,” according to the Zurich Film Festival‘s website. After receiving the award, Alicia and director Fleur Fortuné attended a screening of their new movie The Assessment. Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “In a future world devastated by climate change, society is striving for perfection. Couples wishing to have children must therefore undergo a state aptitude test. Botanist Mia and researcher Aaryan are assigned an assessor, Virginia (Vikander), who stays with them for a week – unsettling their relationship with her uncomfortable question.” The Assessment also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Himesh Patel, and Minnie Driver.
