Alisson Becker is not thinking about leaving Liverpool. The Brazilian goalkeeper has been rumored to be heading to Saudi Arabia, insistently, since the start of the transfer window. But despite Saudi interest, the former Roma goalkeeper does not see himself leaving Merseyside. “I am really happy here. My family is happy. I never thought about leaving. When the interest from Saudi Arabia came, I did not want to close the door to such a big offer. But my decision was always to stay.”Alisson said in an interview with Guardian.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper believes his story with the Reds is not over. The Auriverde international (69 caps) explained that he still believes he can bring something to the English club: “For a goalkeeper, I’m young. I still have a lot to give to Liverpool”. The future of the Brazilian goalkeeper could however be darkened by the probable arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili (23 years old). The immense Georgian goalkeeper (1.99m) is closely followed by the Reds who see in him, their goalkeeper for the future.
