'All American' Season 7 Casting Updates: 6 Stars Exit As Series Regulars, 3 Stars Returning, 2 Actors Join & 2 Get Promoted to Series Regular

All American will be returning for a seventh season!

The CW sports drama series aired it’s sixth season this year and was picked up by the network for another over the summer.

“Through six seasons, All American remains a top-performer for The CW as the network’s most-watched series across all linear and digital platforms,” CW President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz said in a statement.

While the show was renewed, it will its shortest season yet, with only 13 episodes.

With the new season comes quite a few changes to the cast as the characters grow up, which means there will be less familiar faces each episode. According to TVLine, OG cast members who aren’t returning as series regulars could come back as guest stars.

In the upcoming season, the show “is taking it back to where it all began: Beverly Hills High and South Crenshaw High. It’s the same heart, same NFL dream, same crosstown rivalry, same messy hormones, ushered in by a new generation of L.A. teens, a new Beverly coach and our OG Vortex fam, who are surprised to find they’re supposed to be the responsible adults now.”
