All The ‘Severance’ Files Mark S. Sorts Through Season 2: From Allentown To Cold Harbor

Another season of Apple TV+’s hit workplace thriller Severance has come to an end, but the finale episode gave some stark answers as to what exactly is going on down on the Testing Floor with Mark’s (Adam Scott) wife Gemma (Dichen Lachman). Episode 7, titled “Chikhai Bardo” finally filled in a lot of blanks when it came to the lovers’ backstory and how they got separated by the company itself, which seemed to have a hand in their romance from its inception.

A snapshot of the seventh episode reveals that Mark has completed 24 different Macro Data Refinement files, with Cold Harbor being the 25th and final one he needs to complete for some big project to be achieved. However, Mark is not the only one working on files, as we saw that Helly R. (Britt Lower) received a file titled Siena as her very first sorting task back in the beginning of the series. Dylan G. (Zach Cherry) also talked a big game in the progress he was making on one of his files from the start of Season 1 — the Tumwater file.

Even more recently in the fourth episode of Season 2 of Severance, Irving had a strange dream about sorting a file called Montauk, when a ghostly skeleton of a woman — likely meant to represent the temper Woah — looked at him from across his work station. This took place during the ORTBO camping trip retreat. All 25 files Mark S. sorts in the first two seasons of Severance can be found below in the order they were completed, or at least numbered the way they are shown in Episode 7.

Allentown *Season 1 Episode 1 reveals Mark’s holographic trophy was for sorting this file as it is labelled Allentown, possibly because it was the first file he completed at Lumon. This is the file that corresponds to Gemma’s Thank You Note room. Trinity Todos Santos Astoria Lucknow St. Pierre Coleman Waynesboro Cork Molde Cairns Bodo Zurich Culpepper Bellingham Billings Yakima Loveland Merida Sopchoppy Vilnius Rhodes Wellington *This room corresponded to the dental office in which Dr. Mauer (Robby Benson) operated on Gemma’s teeth. Dranesville *This room corresponded to the turbulent airplane Gemma sat on while Mauer was tossed about. Cold Harbor *The final file in Mark’s set of 25, revealed in the Season 2 finale, contained a crib for Gemma to dismantle, echoing back to her miscarriage which was shown in Episode 7.
