Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri hopes to be able to return to action quickly and he has a clear idea of where he wants to do it.

Former Serie A manager Giovanni Galeone has revealed that Massimiliano Allegri is set to return to the helm of AC Milan.

Allegri is currently free of any commitments having been fired at the end of last season by Juventus. Galeone insists the Tuscan technician would be the best option for the Rossonerri, while doubts persist over current coach Paulo Fonseca.

Allegri wants to return to his old club

He told Radio Kiss Kiss: “Max immediately established himself at Milan, as soon as he arrived at the Rossoneri. His return to current Milan would be perfect for the great technical qualities of the team. They have important individuals in attack and Max would be able to give solidity to the defense.”

“If he received an offer from (administrator Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, I think he would accept, without a doubt,” concluded the Italian technician.
