Almost Done? Former WWE Champion’s Contract Believed To Expire Later This Year

Tick tock? There are a variety of stars on the WWE roster and some of them are among the most successful stars that you will see in wrestling today. Those stars have had their share of success but at some point their time with the company is going to come to an end. That might be the case again, as a former multiple time World Champion might be ready to move on.

AJ Styles has not appeared on WWE TV since Clash At The Castle. According to Fightful Select, Styles has been enjoying his time at home with his family and has only been working select live event dates. It is believed that Styles’ WWE contract expires either at the end of the year or at the start of the new year. There is no word on if WWE has attempted to re-sign Styles to a new deal or if there have been discussions on a new agreement.

Opinion: This is one of those weird things that is taking place right now and it is hard to fathom that we are going to be seeing some stars leaving. While Styles might not be leaving, the fact that he might is one of those things that you do not see very often. There is every chance that he could show up elsewhere, but there is always the chance that he could just hang up his boots for good.
