Blueface is keeping his fans posted on his return home. The rapper recently revealed when he expects to be released from behind bars. In a post on Instagram Stories, he shared that he’ll be home in July 2025.
Blue didn’t share any further details about his potential release or any specific date. His update comes a little over a month since he was transferred to North Kern State Prison in Delano, California. A few months ago, in August, Blueface had a different estimate, citing spring as a potential time period for his release.
According to KGET, his prison sentence was slated to end in January 2026. While we await more details on when Blue will be out, keep scrolling to see what else we know about his jailing.
Blueface Previously Said Being In Jail Feels Like A Break
As mentioned, Blue opened up about his time behind bars in August. During a phone call interview, he said that since turning himself into police custody in January, he’s up 180 pounds for the first time in his life. Additionally, Blue said that he has been “chilling,” enjoying Doritos and TV shows. He called his time imprisoned “a lil break from responsibility” that he’s adapted to.
While Blueface’s message came via his Instagram Stories earlier this month, he reportedly lost another form of communication. His mother, Karlissa Saffold, confirmed that he lost his video-calling privileges after a “freaky” phone call. In a video of Blueface and the woman’s interaction, she’s seen making her peach bounce for the camera! It’s unclear if those privileges remained suspended at this time.
