It’s already done. We are closing in on the end of the year and that means there are multiple American holidays taking place. That is the case again this year, which can cause some changes for WWE. This includes having some shows taped in advance for the sake of giving the wrestlers a bit of a breather. That is what we are seeing again, and now one of the shows is done in advance.

WWE taped the November 29 SmackDown in advance following this week’s regular show in Salt Lake City, Utah. The upcoming edition was taped in advance to allow the roster some more time off for the Thanksgiving holidays. The show will be the last episode before the following day’s Survivor Series event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Here are the results, courtesy of PWInsider.com:

• Michin defeated Piper Niven and Lash Legend, who replaced Jade Cargill, to advance to the next round of the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament. Chelsea Green came out with Piper Niven, and she attacked Michin, but B-Fab ran her off.

• Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Andrade. When LA Knight attempted to attack him after the bell, Nakamura sprayed black mist into his eyes.

• Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Carmelo Hayes.

• Rhea Ripley and her team for the WarGames match came out, with Bayley replacing Jade Cargill. Liv Morgan came her team came out and tried to stir up controversy by noting that Bayley took Cargill’s spot. The two teams fought until officials separated them.

• Jacob Fatu defeated Jey Uso to win the Men’s War Games Advantage Match.

They have a lot to follow. Check out what happened on this week’s SmackDown:

Opinion: It’s nice to see WWE doing something like this, as there is no reason to have them coming out for another show the day after a holiday with a premium live event the next day. The show will still be airing on television and that is all it needs to do. For now, it seems WE is starting to give its roster a bit more slack and that is great to see after so many years of it going the other way.
