Only her son, Ollie (Lenny Rush) who she adores, keeps her going. But when Jen (Selin Hizli) arrives in town her life is lit up with laughter and through this kindred soul her dark secret starts to bubble up.” Naturally, fans are already wondering if this means a third season of the show is on the way. Keep reading to find out more… The BBC has yet to announce Season 3 of Am I Being Unreasonable? and there is no news yet from Hulu – but the show’s writer said Season 3 was commissioned by the network! Daisy May Cooper, who wrote the show alongside co-star Selin Hizli and TV writer Jack Thorne, recently opened up about a big plot point following Seasons 1 and 2. Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger when Nic was revealed to be a murderer after letting Alex get hit by a train. Two teenagers watched the murder happen. At the Season 2 premiere, Daisy spoke about that plot line: “Now the teenagers, why wouldn’t they have gone to the police? That’s why we got Jack Thorne to help us out. Series three (expletive) hell,” she told Hello! at the premiere. “I mean, it was sort of annoying that we kind of wrote that (the teenagers) in the first series, because now, the amount of post-it notes on the wall,” she went on. Co-star and writer Selin added: “We took a really long time to write the second series.” Now, fans are hopeful that a third season could be on the way to tie up some plot points, especially after Daisy said it was happening last year. Daisy spoke about the show being renewed for Season 3 in a Firecrotch & Normcore: They Like to Watch podcast episode in January 2024. She admitted that she hadn’t anticipated writing more, “ut then they said, ‘look, here’s some money’ and I said ‘no, absolutely, I’ll just worry about the second series at the time.’ Which is the worst. They’ve even commissioned a third series.” Stay tuned for official word from the BBC! Find out which shows Hulu has renewed and cancelled so far. Watch the trailer for Season 2…
