Amaal took to Instagram Stories to thank his fans and followers for their support regarding his post about family and mental health while also urging the media not to harass his family. He stated, “Thank you for the love and support it truly means a lot, but I would request the media portals to not harass my family… Please don’t sensationalise & give negative headlines to my vulnerability. It’s a request.”

Amaal Clarifies Relationship With Brother Armaan Mallik
Regarding his brother Armaan, Amaal clarified that their relationship remains unchanged. He expressed, “It’s taken a lot for me to open up & it is a very tough time for me… I will always love my family but for now, from afar. Nothing changes between us brothers, Armaan and I are one and nothing can come between us. Love & Peace (red heart emoji),” he concluded.
About Amaal’s Now Removed Post
In a previous post, Amaal revealed his struggles with clinical depression, attributing his mental health challenges to the actions of near and dear ones. He believes have created a rift between him and Armaan. He shared, “Today I stand at a point where I have been robbed of my peace, drained emotionally & maybe financially too but that’s the least of my concerns. What really matters is that I am clinically depressed because of these happenings. Yes I have only myself to blame for my actions but my self-worth has been diminished countless times by actions of near and dear ones that stole pieces of my soul,” in a now-deleted post.
Amaal went on to express that he is “stepping away from these personal ties”. He will maintain strictly professional interactions with his family moving forward.
Amaal Mallik’s Career
As for Amaal’s career, he made his mark as a music composer. He made his debut in the Salman Khan film Jai Ho. The composer gained recognition for his work in Khoobsurat, Roy, Kapoor & Sons, and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. His brother Armaan has lent his voice to several songs composed by Amaal, including hits such as Naina, Buddhu Sa Mann, and Jab Tak.
