Upon accepting her Toronto International Film Festival Tribute Performer Award, Nightbitch star Amy Adams gave an emotional shoutout to her daughter in the audience.

Denis Villeneuve presented Adams, with whom he previously worked on the acclaimed sci-fi Arrival, with the honor.
