Olympique de Marseille will register a new recruit with the expected signing of Neal Maupay (Everton).
New recruit for Olympique de Marseille! After Faris Moumbagna’s serious injury during the first day of Ligue 1, the Phocéens had decided to look for a new center forward. And the lucky one is called Neal Maupay.
According to several media outlets, including L’Equipe, the 28-year-old French striker is joining OM on loan from Everton. The deal includes a mandatory purchase option, estimated at €4 million. The player will then sign a contract with the Olympian club until 2028.
After an early start at Nice, then stints at Saint-Etienne and Brest, Maupay had been playing in England since 2017. He successively wore the colours of Brentford and Brighton before joining Everton in 2022.
