Honduran Alberth Elis is expected to leave the Girondins this winter to join the United States.

Alberth Elis and Bordeaux, it’s almost over. The Honduran international is expected to head to MLS. According to L’Equipe, the Girondins de Bordeaux, who want to downsize this winter, have reached an agreement with the New England Revolution. All that would be missing is the green light from the player, who would be discussing with American leaders.

Alberth Elis arrived in Bordeaux in 2021 from Boavista. He was loaned to Brest for a few months last season. Since the start of the current financial year, he has scored 5 goals in 14 Ligue 2 matches.
