An Italian big name opens its doors in Donnarumma

Before arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021, Gianluigi Donnarumma was one with AC Milan. Trained at the club, the Italian goalkeeper was integrated into the professional team in 2015 and had climbed the ranks one by one before becoming the starting goalkeeper of the Rossoneri. His departure was very badly received by the supporters. They might be even more angry with him.

Under contract until 2026 with PSG, “Gigio” has not yet extended. Although there is still time, the negotiations are no longer moving forward and are stumbling in particular over the financial conditions proposed by the Parisian club. While the Italian receives around ten million euros per year, Qatari leaders no longer want to put that much on the table. A problem which has not yet found a solution and a club would like to take advantage of it.

Rather Paris… For now

According to information from Sky Italia revealed on Saturday, it is neither more nor less than Inter Milan which is following very carefully the evolution of the discussions between Donnarumma and Paris. THE Nerazzurri would therefore consider doing what is necessary to attract the Italian international and bring him back to his city. But would the goalkeeper really want it? Joining the enemy club Milan is perhaps not in his objectives.

In the meantime, the current trend leans towards an extension of the Italian’s contract at PSG. Even if the two parties do not yet agree on everything, the thread of discussions is not broken. It remains to follow the evolution of things and the possible movements of each person in the weeks and months to come.
