Karim Benzema will not return to Real Madrid during this winter transfer window. Carlo Ancelotti certified it.

In recent days, rumors of Karim Benzema’s departure from Al-Ittihad, the Saudi Arabian club in which he has been playing since the start of the season, have continued to grow. According to Sport, the French striker would even have considered returning to Real Madrid during this winter transfer window. The Spanish media specifies that the coach of the Merengue club, Carlo Ancelotti, was also in favor of such a return. However, the leaders of the “White House” would have opposed it, believing that they had sufficient personnel on the offensive level and not having appreciated the way in which Benzema left last June.

Asked to react to these rumors, the “Mister” categorically denied them. “The reports about Karim Benzema’s return to Real Madrid are false. This is fake news. I have not spoken to the club about Karim Benzema and a potential return”assured the former coach of Paris Saint-Germain, this Friday at a press conference, before the trip to Las Palmas for the 22nd day of La Liga.

“I feel very happy, happy to join a legendary club. Of course it’s a new challenge for me, a new life and I can’t wait to start training. Why this club? It’s one of the best in Saudi Arabia, it’s a club with fervor, passion and a lot of trophies. Why Saudi Arabia? Because I am Muslim and this is a Muslim country. I always wanted to live here”declared Karim Benzema just after signing up for three years with the Al-Ittihad Club.
