Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is raising his voice ahead of their Champions League clash with Stuttgart on Tuesday night.
All the lights are almost green at Real Madrid before the start of the Champions League. The White House, who face Stuttgart on Tuesday evening at Santiago-Bernabeu (9 p.m.), are on two consecutive victories in La Liga, against Betis (2-0) and Real Sociedad, two matches which allowed Kylian Mbappé to find his marks a little more in attack.
The only downside for the Merengues is that their infirmary is still a little too full before tackling this “new look” C1. Injured in the adductors this weekend against the Basques, Brahim Diaz has joined Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba and Dani Ceballos in the treatment room, while Jude Bellingham and Aurélien Tchouameni will finally return to the field.
Ancelotti raises his voice!
A situation that is beginning to worry Carlo Ancelotti. Before the reception of the Germans, the Italian coach attacked the calendar, which he considers “too demanding” for players. “We looked at what could be done (to avoid injuries), but it is not in our hands. The schedule is far too demanding.”he said at a press conference.
“Now a new competition is coming and nobody knows how it will play out.he added.
It may or may not be more fun. But what is certain is that we will play at least two more games.” This could even increase to four matches for the clubs that will play the play-offs, qualifying for the round of 16.
“If the governing bodies don’t start thinking that players are getting injured because they’re playing too much, then we have a problem.. I ask that the number of matches be reduced to have more attractive competitions,” continued the Real Madrid manager. Who is not the first to complain, but UEFA is not willing to listen…
