And Done: Important Update On Bobby Lashley’s WWE Contract Status And Wrestling Future

And that’s it. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster but at some point there is going to be something of a changeover. Wrestlers are going to leave for one reason or another, with some just going away because the two sides decide to wrap up their relationship. That appears to be the case again with one of the most successful stars WWE has ever seen and now we know more about his impending departure.

Over the last few weeks, a story broke suggesting that Bobby Lashley was done with WWE and would not be returning to television. According to Fightful Select, Lashley’s current WWE deal will be up this weekend. As a result, Lashley will be a free agent and can sign and appear for any promotion he likes. Lashley has been out of action since May with an undisclosed injury.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise and now we are waiting to see what is next for Lashley. He is still someone who can add value to a variety of promotions and he will certainly have suitors coming for his services. I’m curious to see where he winds up and now we could be seeing him show up in a few different places, which opens up a variety of options.
