IMG Credit: All Elite WrestlingHand then over. Title changes can be major moments in a wrestlers’ careers as you never know when you are going to see someone either win or lose a championship. A wrestler can get quite a boost from winning a title and such changes often take place at major events. That was the case this week, as multiple titles changed hands in a single night at the same show.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s In: Former Champion Makes Surprise Return To Help The Young Bucks At AEW Dynasty
There were seven traditional title matches at AEW Dynasty, plus a match where two sets of titles were unified. Among these seven matches, four new champions were crowned, plus one set of titles was unified with another. During the show:
• Willow Nightingale defeated Julia Hart to win the TBS Title
• Chris Jericho defeated Hook to win the FTW Title
• The Young Bucks defeated FTR to win the vacant Tag Team Titles
• Swerve Strickland defeated Samoa Joe to win the AEW Wrld Title.
In addition the Ring Of Honor Six Man Champions Bullet Club Gold defeated the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn to win the AEW Trios Titles. The Continental Title, the International Title and the Women’s Titles were all retained.

Opinion: I would certainly call that a busy night and that is the way this kind of a show is supposed to go. At the end of the day, title changes are still some of the most important things that can happen in wrestling and that was certainly the case at Dynasty. It was fun to see where some of these things were going and now we get to find out where the new champions are going from here.
