IMG Credit: AEWShe’s done. The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works, as there is now a second major wrestling promotion on the national stage. CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana during her time in WWE, has announced that she departed AEW during an interview with USA Today. Perry had served as a manager for Miro, last appearing in December 2023. While she has left AEW, Perry has said that she is able to be booked as a manager elsewhere. Opinion: This isn’t exactly the biggest surprise, as Perry has not been around for months and was not exactly a top player in AEW in the first place. Letting her move on and do something else seems like the sensible thing, as if nothing else it closes up the loophole created by her absence. Perry is a talented star and I’m sure she’ll wind up somewhere, which should work out well enough.
What do you think of Perry’s time in AEW? Where would you like her to sign next? Let us know in the comments below.
